ARAI is the only autoinjector with single-hand, single-step activation. With clear labeling and audible, tactile and visual feedback, user errors are reduced.

Stable
ARAI stores drugs in a glass-free, flexible, high-barrier primary drug container constructed from polymer films. The container can be configured with multiple compartments to separately store treatment constituents.

ARAI is designed and tested in the toughest environmental conditions to meet and exceed the 99.999% FDA reliability standard.

Over the last five years, the US government has contributed over $60 million to complete the development of the ARAI platform, supplemented by $20 million in private funding for manufacturing scaleup activities.

Platform
Patented mechanism powered by pressurized gas enables unique features and design versatility. Injection pressure, injection time, and needle dwell time can be easily tailored for each application. Platform works with a range of payloads and configurations including dose volumes up to 5 ml, up to 4 constituents with simultaneous injection, and automatic reconstitution. 

Primary drug container options include standard glass cartridge or prefilled syringe, blow-fill-seal, or film-based containers.

Aktiv has an in-house GMP pilot manufacturing capability for drug formulation, sterile fill-finish, and device assembly.
